Private Workshop Chocolate Praline Making

Description
At well-known ‘Royal’ Patisserie Vermeer, you will enjoy a private workshop chocolate praline making. When entering the patisserie, the delicious pastries, chocolates, wedding cakes, desserts and savory specialties immediately draw your attention. During the workshop, you will learn all about the origins of chocolate, the different types of chocolate and how chocolates are made. After the workshop, you can take all the delicious chocolates with you to be enjoyed later.

Lunch at the Home of a Private Family

Description
In the picturesque village Lisse, the heart of the bulb district, you will be taken to a local private modern home in an upscale residential area. Here, a freshly prepared home-made lunch will be served. Only we have access to this amazing home. Enjoy and talk with the owners and see how the Dutch live. Weather permitting, lunch will be served in the family garden.

Private Lunch or Dinner Cruise in Amsterdam

Description
A private 3-hour dinner cruise through the Amsterdam canals on a historical saloon boat. The most relaxed way to get to know Amsterdam with a VIP treatment. Along the way, a progressive 3-course freshly prepared dinner will be served. Each course will be picked up at a different restaurant, this can even be a Michelin star restaurant. This is also possible as a 2-hour lunch cruise.

Private Tour and Beer Tasting at a Microbrewery

Description
This small brewery is located in a former auction house in one of the oldest areas in Amsterdam. Since around 1300, this was the place where wooden ships delivered beer from Germany. Later, the first breweries in Amsterdam were built here. It is a small unique place where they still brew beer according to traditional recipes. The guided tour is concluded by a tasting of 4 local beers.

Wine Tasting at the Apostelhoeve, near Maastricht

Description
The historic farm of “Apostelhoeve” is located in the South of Maastricht on the only mountain on Dutch lands, the St. Pietersberg. Apostelhoeve’s land has been covered with grapevines since the Roman era. Since 1967, the Hulst family has been producing excellent wines, which are popular all over The Netherlands. World famous British wine critic Jancis Robinson stated that Apostelhoeve wines are “the most surprising tasting ever”.

Windmills and Cheese

Description
This is the quintessential Dutch day where you visit windmills at Zaanse Schans and have a cheese experience! With its characteristic green houses, tradesmen’s workshops, historic windmills and little shops, Zaanse Schans gives the feeling of stepping back in time. The private cheese experience will be done at a traditional, non-touristy Dutch dairy farm. You will also visit the picturesque village Edam.

The Hague

Description
Madurodam is a miniature park in The Hague. It is home to a range of 1:25 scale model replicas of famous Dutch landmarks and historical cities. The Hague is a historical city from the 13th Century. King Willem-Alexander lives here, and you find many world-famous museums such as the Louwman Car Museum (there are over 275 historic and classic motor cars in our museum), and the Panorama Mesdag cylindrical painting.

Delft

Description
During this day, you visit one of the two original remaining Delftware manufacturers (PAAUW) and Delft’s medieval city center. At PAAUW it is possible to do a private workshop Delftware painting. Delft is known as miniature Amsterdam, because of its canals and the grand monumental merchants’ mansions. It is the burial ground of members of the Royal family. Their crypt is located in the New Church which you also visit.

Cruise River Vecht and Castle Zuylen

Description
A cruise on the Vecht River means cruising past beautiful estates. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the rich merchants of Amsterdam built 200 estates along the Vecht. After the cruise and some leisure time for lunch, there will be a private guided tour of Castle (Slot) Zuylen. Whilst retaining many of its medieval castle-like features it was converted into a country mansion in the 18th century.

Maastricht and Valkenburg

Description
Maastricht is the oldest city in the Netherlands dating back to Roman times. A visit there includes a visit to an underground network of passageways and mine galleries. And just outside of Maastricht, in the picturesque village of Valkenburg, you find the Velvet Cave where charcoal mural paintings and some exceptional marlstone sculptures can be found. This area is totally different from the rest of the Netherlands since it has a rolling countryside.

The Efteling Amusement Park

Description
The Efteling is a fantasy-themed amusement park. The attractions reflect elements from ancient legends, fairy tales and fables. It evolved from a nature park with a playground and a Fairytale Forest into a full-sized theme park. It now caters to both children and adults with its cultural, romantic, and nostalgic themes, in addition to its wide array of amusement rides. It is one of the oldest theme parks in the world.

Utrecht

Description
The historic city of Utrecht hosts two great museums. The Musical Clock Museum specializes in self-playing musical instruments. Among the instruments on display are music boxes, musical clocks, barrel organs and a turret clock with a carillon. The Railway Museum aims to conserve old historically significant trains and rail equipment from the early years in the 19th century through the 1930s and 1940s; and, has large hall with trains.

Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen

Description
The Zuiderzee Museum is a Dutch museum devoted to preserving the cultural heritage and maritime history from the old Zuiderzee region. The indoor museum consists of a string of 17th century buildings of which some were used by the VOC and contains both temporary exhibitions as well as permanent installations. The outdoor museum (museum village) was set up to mimic the architecture and ‘atmosphere’ of villages around the former Zuiderzee.

An Exclusive Visit to a Private Grower

Description
This is a very special experience, normally these growers cannot be visited. In most cases, the visit is to a family-owned company. In the greenhouses you will see African Violets, Orchids, Roses, Tulips, Hydrangeas, Gerbera Daisies or any other blooming flower. The owner will be there to greet you in person and guide you through the company. All your questions will be answered with great pleasure and skill.

Behind the Scenes Museum Visits and Visits Before or After Opening Hours

Description
Several museums in the Netherlands offer the opportunity for a behind the scenes look and/or a visit before or after opening hours. These museums include the Mauritshuis Museum (Girl with the Pearl Earring) and Panorama Mesdag Museum in the Hague, and the Kröller-Müller Museum, 75-minutes east of Amsterdam, home of the second largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world.

Amsterdam Walking Tour

Description
During this interesting walking tour through the historic city center, you discover some hidden treasures. See and learn more about 17th – 20th century gable architecture, interiors, garden history and how the merchant families lived. Also, during this tour you will visit the Beguines Court with the oldest wooden house, the Nine Street district, the Jordaan area, Dam Square, the historical canal belt area, unique buildings and lots more.

Jewish District and Resistance Museum

Description
Our walk through the Jewish Cultural Quarter focuses on the history of the Jews in the Netherlands and the tragic events of World War II. The walk includes visits to the Jewish Historical Museum, the Portuguese Synagogue, the Hollandse Schouwburg (Dutch Theatre) and the Verzetsmuseum (Resistance Museum). In the Resistance Museum, the atmosphere of the streets of Amsterdam during the German occupation of the WWII is recreated.

World War II

Description
This tour combines two great museums dedicated to World War II. The Overloon War Museum was opened in 1946, making it one of the oldest WWII museums in Europe. The museum is located on the site of the Battle of Overloon. The Airborne museum, located in the original Villa Hartenstein, shows the course of events during the Battle of Arnhem (September 1944) which was part of operation “Market Garden”.

Maastricht and Margraten

Description
Maastricht, located in the very South-east of the Netherlands, is the country’s oldest city, dating back to Roman times. It is steeped in history and located within a very un-Dutch countryside with rolling hills. Nearby Valkenburg, with the castle ruins and Velvet Cave, and American War cemetery Margraten (the second largest WWII cemetery in Europe) complete this area’s historical importance.

Description
The Hague is a historical city from the 13th Century. King Willem-Alexander lives here, and you find many world-famous museums such as the Mauritshuis Museum (Girl with the Pearl Earring) and the Panorama Mesdag cylindrical painting (14 meters high, 120 meters in circumference). This city can easily be combined with Delft in a day-tour.

Rotterdam is famous for its modern architecture. Here, we do an interesting walking tour with a real architect. During the tour, you will get all the ins and outs of Rotterdam’s architecture and its amazing sights. You will see the Erasmus Bridge and some spectacular buildings like the Rotterdam by Rem Koolhaas, the Red Apple by KCAP Architects, Rotterdam Central Station and the recently opened Market Hall.

Zaanse Schans and Edam

Description
Zaanse Schans, with its traditional green wooden houses, tradesmen’s workshops and historic windmills, gives you the feeling of stepping back into the 17th and 18th century. Only 30-minutes away is the historical and picturesque village of Edam. Edam is famous as the original source of the cheese with the same name. The old town center, within the old city walls, is nowadays protected by the government.
