Harry’s is the sort of place where you’d like to eat every day – relaxed, informal, and comfortable.
The restaurant has naturally developed in a new direction over the past several years. Chef Audrey Eussen has created a recognizable cooking style, free of pretentious embellishment, and the wait staff is minimalist and efficient. Guests know they can enjoy a sumptuous four-course meal or come for just a single course and a good glass of wine – and everything in between.
The menu contains a wide selection of antipasti as well as oysters, steak tartar, and of course the signature dish, Harry’s entrecote with béarnaise sauce. There are modestly priced dishes like Caesar salad and fresh pasta pesto, and there’s also a whole lobster with sauce Américaine. The wine menu offers a range of wines per glass and half bottle. In other words, Harry’s has something for everyone! But who is Harry?
– a music lover
– a good conversationalist
– interesting company
– always on the lookout for inspiring places
– a lover of good food
– someone who enjoys both wine and beer
First and foremost, the owner wanted Harry’s to be fun. It’s a place where you can enjoy good company over good food and good wine. There are no amuse-bouches, no hourlong explanations of dishes, and no pretentious ‘works of art’ on a plate. It’s just honest food for an honest price, served by an efficient wait staff in a relaxed setting.
Harry’s is located in a stately building in the dynamic district of Wyck. The restaurant was designed by the British architect David Chipperfield and evokes the mood of an international brasserie. The restaurant serves unpretentious food and beverages in a relaxed, comfortable setting.
Chef Audrey Eussen and her kitchen brigade create seasonal dishes based on international cuisine with a comforting, familiar twist. Harry’s works closely with regional farmers and suppliers who use sustainable, organic techniques.
