The Conservatorium Hotel

In the heart of Amsterdam’s famous museum district, just a stone’s throw from all the city’s delights, is the magnificent neo-gothic Conservatorium hotel, standing on the former site of the Sweelinck music conservatory. Opened in December 2011, the Conservatorium has been designed for a new generation of travellers who expect a hotel to not only offer immaculate contemporary design, exceptional service and exemplary facilities, but also to provide them with an entree to the social and cultural life of a destination.

With eight floors and 129 rooms and suites, guests can choose accommodation ranging from a comfortable Duplex Suite through to the Penthouse Suite. All guests have complimentary access to Akasha Holistic Wellbeing, which spans over a 1000m² and offers everything from oriental massages, a sauna, hammam and jacuzzi, extensive gym facilities through to a gigantic indoor swimming pool.

Guests can expect great food and attentive service at the Brasserie & Lounge, which is housed in a stunning glass and steel courtyard. On top of that, Taiko Cuisine is Schilo van Coevorden’s leading award-winning Asian-inspired eatery and one of the finest hotel restaurants in Amsterdam. Also located in the hotel is Taiko Bar, offering supreme bites from Taiko Cuisine and an extensive selection of Asian inspired cocktails.

The Conservatorium hotel is the first member of The Set, a collection of hotels at the most outstanding addresses, in the world’s most vibrant cities. Other members are Hotel Café Royal in London and Hotel Lutetia in Paris.
