Beluga loves you
Beluga was a restaurant in the Dutch city of Maastricht, which was owned by chef Hans van Wolde from 1997 to 2019. As of 2014, the restaurant is referred to as Beluga Loves You. At the end of 2018, Van Wolde sold the restaurant to his former sous-chef Servais Tielman.
In the summer of 2019, Van Wolde officially handed over the key to Beluga Loves You to the new chef. With the arrival of a new owner and chef, the two Michelin stars that the restaurant had at the time automatically expired. Two months after the takeover, Lekker magazine ranked the new restaurant in 36th place in the top 500 of best restaurants in the Netherlands, the highest entry of that year. In January 2020, the restaurant again received its first Michelin star.
