A new addition to our already wide range of special sights is Dairy Farm Hoeve Waterrijk. Hugo and Marije van der Poel are the 3rdgeneration of farm cheese makers at Hoeve Waterrijk. The farm is located on a small private island on the lake Kager, which can only be reached by a short ferry ride. On a daily basis, Hugo and Marije prepare the farm cheese in the traditional way. This farm still has the authentic wooden barrels that were used by Hugo’s grandparents.
